IMPORTANT: READ NOTE BELOW BEFORE INSTALLING FIRMWARE

DO NOT UNCOMPRESS THIS FILE! The Megadisk NAS will only accept the firmware file if it is in the tar file format.

To update the firmware, navigate to Control Panel -> Maintenance -> Firmware Update. Click "Browse" next to the firmware entry box, and select the firmware file you downloaded. Click upgrade to begin the firmware update.

The update will take approximately 10 minutes. DO NOT POWER OFF, navigate, or interfere with the process in the interim. When complete, the unit will restart with the new firmware on its own
