Warranty Policy and Limitations

Fantom Drives thanks you for your business and will always try to give you the best of service.


Warranty is provided by Fantom Drives for Fantom Drives Product which was purchased from an authorized distributor or authorized reseller. No warranty service is provided unless the product is returned with an Authorized RMA number. If sent without a RMA, your package will be denied by our warehouse.


Warranty is provided to the original purchaser only and is non-transferrable. If the product was bought refurbished or used, the warranty will be void.


Warranty period commences on the purchase date appearing on your receipt from an authorized reseller. Proof of purchase is required to be eligible for warranty and establish the purchase date.


Customer is responsible for shipping the product back to us for service.

International customers are responsible for shipping costs round trip (shipping product back to us and us shipping the serviced drive back to you).


Prior to approval of RMA, our technical support staff will try to troubleshoot the unit for you. Most issues are fixed during the troubleshooting phase (for example, a bad USB cable or Power Supply). If you do not agree to troubleshoot the unit, we reserve the right to decline your RMA request. If we receive the product back and the RMA team finds no issues with the drive and its functionality after testing, we will ship the same product back. If there is an issue, a replacement will be provided.


How to request an RMA for a Warranty Claim

  1. Please fill out the form. For Question field, please include a brief description of your problem.
  2. On Details field, include your Model Number, Serial Number located on the unit.
  3. Support Type should be marked as Warranty Claim
